I am interested in taking a training course in medical billing and coding. But, I have been searching and I can not find any schools that offer training online. If anyone knows of a school that offers training online that provides financial aid please let me know. Also, if you do medical billing and coding yourself please let me know how you would describe it. Is it insanely hard to do, was it hard at first and now you like it, is it something that you wouldn’t recommend people doing (if so for what reason), or do you love it and find it easy for others to grasp? Thanks!

I’ve been doing my research and from what I’ve been reading it’s a promising career. Im not really all that happy with my current career choice financially. I am taking Medical Billing classes in the Summer at my local college and will be recieving a Certificate. I would like to get a feel for Medical Billing thought before i beggin the classes in the Summer. How would i go about doing this? Don’t some places just train you?

I was thinking about contacting Local Dentists and Doctors to see if i could work with the Medical Billers and mabey even do some myself for Minimum Wage.
